David Branton moved to Wilmington in 2009 to complete his Bachelor’s in History degree at UNC-Wilmington. At the same time David joined commercial real estate development and management firm Zimmer Development Company learning the intricacies of development, property management and landlord representation with a focus on retail real estate. In 2016 he made the move to full time commercial brokerage with Eastern Carolinas Commercial Real Estate using this knowledge to accurately represent the needs and wants of both landlords and tenants. In 2021 David became a partner with ECCRE and took over the role of Broker-In-Charge. He now focuses on a mixture of retail and multifamily transactions across eastern North Carolina.
In addition to ECCRE David is active in many different volunteer leadership roles, with Cape Fear Realtors as Candidate Selection Task Force and Government Affairs Committeee Chair, Wilmington Metropolitan Planning Organization Community Affairs Committee member, and Southeastern Economic Development Commission member.
