Howard Coupland is Vice President of Cape Fear Commercial. He joined the firm’s Brokerage team in April 2012, but has been a real estate investor and licensed North Carolina real estate broker for nearly two decades, giving him the unique perspective that comes from being on both sides of the industry. His reputation for honesty and trust, combined with his personable nature and knowledge of the area, are just a few traits that have enabled him to successfully cultivate and manage new and existing client relationships.

In 2016, Howard earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (“CCIM”) designation, which recognizes experts in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate in both theory and practice. He also serves on the Budget and Finance committees of the REALTORS Commercial Alliance of Southeastern North Carolina and is a proud member of the Board of Directors for September’s Mission Foundation, a non-profit organization that spearheaded the 9/11 Memorial at the World Trade Center in New York City.

Howard is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He is a native of Wilmington and currently resides in the area. He enjoys spending time with his son, Connor, who attends the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
